Genertec Meheco Convenes 2026 Work Conference and 11th Session of Second Employee Representative Congress

Genertec Meheco held its 2026 Work Conference and the 11th Session of the Second Employee Representative Congress at General Times Center on January 17. The conference was conducted under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. It comprehensively implemented the guiding principles from the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the Plenary Sessions of the 20th CPC Central Committee, while earnestly studying President Xi Jinping's important instructions concerning central enterprises. The conference accurately aligned with the requirements set forth by the Central Economic Work Conference, the meeting of heads of central SOEs, and the Group's Annual Work Conference. Participants reviewed the achievements of 2025, examined the progress made during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, and deliberated on key tasks for 2026. These discussions laid a solid foundation for the successful launch of the company's 15th Five-Year Plan. The conference was attended by Gu Jin, Vice President and Member of the Leading Party Members Group of Genertec Group, who delivered an address. Other guests included Pan Zhen, Convener of the Group's Equity Directors, and Sun Zhuo, Resident Director and Deputy Director of the Group's Human Resources Department. Yang Guang, Chairman and Secretary of the Party Committee of Genertec Meheco, presented a work report titled Pioneering Innovation for the Future: Advancing the 15th Five-Year Plan with Determined Action. The conference was presided over by Hong Jiaqing, Deputy General Manager and Member of the Party Committee, who also shared key takeaways from the Group's 2025 work meeting. Senior executives from subsidiary companies submitted the 2026 Performance Commitment Letters for Party Building, as well as Safety, Environmental Protection and Quality Management. Concurrently with the Work Conference, the company convened the 11th Session of the Second Employee Representative Congress. Over 500 participants joined the session at the main venue and via video conferencing, including the corporate leadership, mid-to-senior management of functional departments at headquarters and subsidiaries, employee representatives, as well as media representatives from China Media Group (CMG), Guangming Daily, China News of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Securities Daily.
